Marketing is so much more than a website or a digital strategy. Marketing is about thinking creatively and strategically about solving real business problems.
Yep this is me. In all my glory.
I’m a marketer. A thinker and a strategist.
And I love it.
I’ve been doing it for a long time—almost longer than I’ve been married to my wonderful hubby, Chris Lafferty.
And through it all, my favorite part is the people I’ve met and the companies I’ve gotten to know. I hold a special place in my heart for small to medium size businesses. I’ve worked in both. And I’ve also been part of the churn and burn of large corporate businesses. And well, let’s just say it’s not me.
I admire the business owner who gets up every day to continue building something they love. I enjoy helping business owners who have wildly different expertise than mine feel confident about how they invest in marketing and where they spend their cash. That precious, hard-earned cash. It doesn’t come easy, any business owner knows that. And it goes out way faster than it comes in. So, we must be wise about every dollar. I help business owners be wise about the dollars they put into marketing.
My love for marketing was built through content. I’m not a designer, I’m a writer. Because I grew up through content, I learned to love SEO, I learned to love how to understand behavior and conversations through search and digital. I think it’s fascinating to follow the rabbit holes of how people think, search, and buy online. And that’s why I’m good at what I do—not because I’ve done it for years, but because I have a passion for it so I’m continuously learning and doing.
If you’re a small business owner or just need some input and advice on where to place those marketing dollars, how to attract folks to your website (folks that matter to your business), or how to create a strategy for that first big leap or next big journey—call me up!
I’m a marketer. A thinker and a strategist. But more importantly, I’m a small business owner.
